From Dearborn County, Indiana to Winnipeg, Canada from ages 41 to 13 internet predators are everywhere and our kids are falling victim to these predators daily.
Today, September 9, 2008, Berks County, PA, 21 year old man charged sexual solicitation in chat room. Christopher Doney, pleads guilty to “unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility” as reported by readingeagle.com.
He is pending sentence. The judge in this case ordered the defendant to go through a violent sex offender assessment pursuant to Megan’s Law http://www.meganslaw.state.pa.us/soab/cwp/view.asp?a=3&q=112612&pp=3. When Doney contacted a representative posing as the 14 year old, he immediately sent sexual photos of himself as well as descriptions of sex acts in preparing the groundwork for their meeting.
In September, 2008 Wentzville, MO captures internet predator 31 year old Brian Bennett of California who kidnapped a 17-yr old girl from her home in South Carolina, where he met her on the internet. In September 2008, Winnipeg, Canada, 13 year old boy allegedly rapes and assaults a 13 year old girl he met on the internet. He left his victim bleeding in a building in Winnipeg.
The Court released him on bail, but wanted him watched 24/7. He was charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm as reported by James Turner, of the Winnipeg Press. On August 8 the accused allegedly made unwanted sexual attempts toward the victim. She turned him down and he became violent. Police found her after he fled the scene. In July 2008, West Bend, WI 15 year old girl met 44 year old Geyer on the internet, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for having sex with a child. He has children ages 14. 11 and 8. Geyer is a software consultant from Austin, Texas.
He met the 15 year old in a chat room in February 2007, and then repeatedly made trips to West Bend over three months. They would meet at the public library and then go to a motel. July 2008, Dearborn County, Indiana, 15 year old girl met an older man while chatting on MySpace. This 15 year old was pretending to be older. He was paying a lot of attention to her even when she told him she was really 15 he was still interested.
Boehm, known sex offender who had previously been in prison from trying to rape two other children under 12. Boehm picked up the minor 15 year old in a van and went to a local parking lot and had sex.
